Summary
Designs and develops projection lenses, laser beam relay systems, and pattern recognition optics for precision optical instruments
such as photolithographic exposure systems, laser ablation systems, and optical alignment and inspections systems.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
- In conjunction with the opto-mechanical engineering staff, conducts tolerance analysis to evaluate and optimize the expected as
built performance of the optical system. Performs sensitivity analysis of the optical system to aid in establishing fabrication and
alignment tolerances.
- Determines specifications and operations of lenses and optical systems and makes adjustments to calibrate and obtain specified
operational performance.

Project Manager (Engineering)
The Role:
Tamarack Scientific is searching for a high energy Project Manager to help lead exciting new projects we'll be launching in the next several months.
From project inception to customer delivery, this highly visible position is responsible for organizing, scheduling and managing the organization's diverse
resources to deliver highly complex equipment projects. The successful candidate has experience working in a matrix organization and experience
directly supporting an external customer.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the 5 key activities of Project Management: Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring/Controlling, and Project Closure with the client.
- Responsible for developing and managing the key dimensions of the project: Scope, Schedule, Quality, Risk, Cost, Team Communications, etc.
- Working in a matrix environment, manage resources from across the organization (multiple engineering disciplines, procurement, vendors,
fabrication, assembly and test) to assure that project goals are achieved.
- Primary responsibility for external communications with the customer and assuring timely resolution of Technical, Schedule, Quality, and Scope issues.

Job Requirements

PROJECT MANAGEMENT ENGINEER
Summary
This highly visible position is responsible for the organizing, scheduling, and tracking of major capital equipment
projects from inception to delivery. Responsibilities include developing all project documentation including goal setting,
scheduling, risk assessment and mitigation, etc., coordinating the activities of engineering, manufacturing, assembly,
and test to deliver complex capital equipment on time, within budget, and to the customer's specification.

- Work with Sales to develop the system quotation, including delivery, based upon resource allocation

SALES APPLICATION ENGINEER
Summary
Sells manufacturing capital equipment and services. Involved in all aspects of the sale from initial presentations
and demonstrations through contract signing and post-sales follow up. Involves working effectively with company's
engineering group to develop customer solutions. Requires some travel to meet with potential customers and representatives.
Involves actively searching out and contacting potential customers ("cold calling"). Services the customer after the sale
to ensure satisfaction and to promote future business. Prepares sales forecasts and participates in the determination of
market potential as required.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Obtains sales orders by contacting and calling on engineers/prospects and representatives to direct, control, and assist in
project design and specifications toward both the customer's and Tamarack's best interests. Sales effort will target
Semiconductor, Display, Plastic Electronics, PCB, Medical and other markets. Ensures sales growth objectives are met.
- Establishes contacts and dialog with European, Asian and U.S. customers and in other markets.
- Responsible for consistent planning and sales activities to create new business through organized prospecting and increase
Tamarack's share of business from existing accounts.

Summary
Researches, designs, defines, and implements complex system requirements for customers. Assists in the initial planning
and system definition phase of a project, system integration and verification process.

- Consults with customer and analyzes their requirements to determine feasibility of design.
- Assists in defining system architecture and communicates to design engineering team, management
and customer. Assists in the functional decomposition, performance flow down and physical partitioning
of the system’s architecture.

operational and performance requirements of overall system. Develops plans to verify that the system’s
